Each successful commission is the child of successful project planning, be it a design brief or book plan. It’s something McClelland and Chase Communications Bureau understand the importance of. By getting our planning right, we believe everything else will fall into place, exceeding client expectations.
By collaborating with customers in industries and sectors we know and know well, we are confident in delivering a project that exceeds expectations. Experience is everything, and each completed project adds to our resume of excellence.
Below are samples of our work to entice and entertain.

“Never work with children and animals”, Oh, how W.C. Fields was wrong.
For the photographer, the horse is the ultimate gift. As Henri Cartier-Bresson described, they provide the opportunity to record the ‘decisive moment’. Often working in field conditions that aid the authenticity of each shot, we share the excitement of horse and rider, albeit for a moment. Each photograph tells a story, and each moment is carefully defined by action and atmosphere. In this environment, the photographer strives to capture that ‘decisive moment’.
Like their larger equine fellows, hounds and dogs are always fun to work around and can be guaranteed to raise a smile. Whether playing in the field or snuggling up to their humans, dogs prove they really are our best friends.
RAF 100 was a celebration of the centenary of the founding of the Royal Air Force. I was fortunate to work as an RAF Reservist with members of the RAF on the Mobile News Teams and as a lone worker. I covered key events from the Welsh Coast to the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds and in the sprawling metropolis of London. All in celebration of the first 100 years of the world’s first independent air force.
Per Ardua Ad Astra!
These projects are always fun! People, objects, creative freedom and the opportunity to be a part of something unique. The UK’s creative and cultural industries extend way beyond the palette. Military museums, gallery shows, public spaces and open-air displays have challenges to work with, and they are equally rewarding. In these environments, 21 years of experience in the arts and heritage sector pays off; academic knowledge and technical prowess come together to bring the story alive.
Clients include Hemingway's Art, The Royal Lancers And Nottinghamshire Yeomanry Museum, and David Vango.
Here the technical meets the inspirational. Using various hard and soft skills, McClelland & Chase Communications Bureau can perform various communications tasks, from graphic design to forensic photography. To begin to share what we’ve achieved would take an entire website, but hopefully, this selection of stills hints at what we can achieve.
Clients include Pen and Sword Books, Help for Heroes, Best Western Hotels, Hearst, Ibidem, Metropolis Group and Market Trade News.
*Note: none of us are vampires.
Home is where the heart is; as a rural business, McClelland & Chase Communications Bureau is a sympathetic partner. We understand the changes, challenges and calamities that affect our way of life. However, we also appreciate the joy, peace and humour that can also be found within the vales, Dumbles and under the big skies.
We want to capture these moments in words and pictures with Hardy and Surtees, Moss and Lange as our muses.
Experimentation is how we learn, develop our skills and gain pleasure from our work. It’s a vital part of Continuous Personal Development, which supports our work interests. It helps increase confidence, improves wellbeing, and is an excellent opportunity to blow off creative steam. Without such moments imagination becomes stale, and innovation slows. In addition, it gives us something to talk about to fellow creatives and share notes on best practice.
It’s also great fun.
